Denver Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy for eligible clients in Denver, Colorado, through secure video. Personalized therapy for anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma recovery, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationships, and personal growth.
Individual Therapy for life in Denver
Individual therapy gives you a place to put down what you have been carrying. We work one-on-one to understand the patterns shaping how you respond today, then connect that insight to practical tools you can use at work, at home, and in your relationships.
For Denver clients balancing career pressure and relationships, online therapy removes the trip to an office while keeping the focus on meaningful, consistent support.
Your Denver sessions focus on your own priorities rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. A private video setting, reliable connection, and a clinician authorized in Colorado help make ongoing care possible without traveling to an office.

Recognition
You may not feel as though everything is falling apart. You may still be working, caring for others, meeting responsibilities, and appearing composed. Yet underneath that functioning, you may feel exhausted, disconnected, resentful, anxious, numb, or unsure how much longer you can keep going in the same way. Therapy gives you a private, thoughtful space to stop performing, tell the truth about what is happening, and understand what you need.

FAQ
Questions about individual therapy in Denver
- Is individual therapy available in Denver?
- Individual Therapy for eligible clients in Denver, Colorado, through secure video. Personalized therapy for anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma recovery, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationships, and personal growth.
- Do I need to visit an office in Denver?
- Client appointments are currently virtual, not at a Denver office. In-person client services are coming in 2027, with no specific city opening confirmed.
- Where must I be for a Denver video session?
- For counseling arranged under Colorado authorization, you must be physically located in Colorado during the session. Tell us before traveling; a home address alone does not establish eligibility. For couples, both partners' locations must be confirmed.
- How do I ask about individual therapy in Denver?
- Use Start Here or contact Evolution Counseling Services to discuss your goals, clinician fit, fees, and availability. A consultation helps determine whether this service is appropriate for you.
- How long are individual therapy sessions?
- Standard individual sessions are approximately 55 minutes and are scheduled by appointment.
- How many therapy sessions will I need?
- There is no fixed number. It depends on your goals and what you are working through, and your clinician reviews progress with you regularly rather than committing you to a set timeline.
- Do you bill insurance for individual therapy?
- Evolution Counseling Services does not bill insurance. We are a fee-for-service practice and can provide a superbill you may submit to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. See Rates & Payment for current fees.
- Is individual therapy done online or in person?
- All individual therapy is provided virtually through a secure, HIPAA-appropriate video platform.
- Which states can I be located in for therapy?
- You must be physically located in Texas, Colorado, or Missouri at the time of your session, because clinicians can only practice where they are licensed.
- What happens in the first individual therapy session?
- The first session focuses on your history, what brought you in now, and what you want to change. You and your clinician agree on initial goals and a working plan.
- How do I know if I need therapy?
- If distress, exhaustion, anxiety, or relationship patterns are persistent, interfering with daily life, or not improving on their own, therapy is appropriate. You do not need a crisis to qualify.
- How often will I meet with my therapist?
- Most clients begin weekly or every other week, then reduce frequency as goals are met.
- What issues can individual therapy help with?
- Anxiety, overthinking, depression, burnout, trauma, grief, life and career transitions, self-esteem, perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundaries, and relationship patterns.
- Is what I say in therapy confidential?
- Yes. Sessions are confidential, with narrow legal exceptions such as risk of serious harm or abuse, which your clinician explains at intake.
- Can I switch therapists if it is not the right fit?
- Yes. Fit matters more than anything else in therapy, and you can request a different clinician at any time without explanation.
- Do you prescribe medication?
- No. Our clinicians provide therapy, not medication management, and can coordinate with your prescriber or refer you to one.
- How much does individual therapy cost?
- Rates vary by service. Current fees and payment options are listed on the Rates & Payment page, and fees are confirmed before your first session.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Appointments should be cancelled or rescheduled with advance notice; the specific window and any fee are stated in your intake paperwork.
- How do I get started with individual therapy?
- Start with the Start Here page or call the office. We match you with a clinician based on your goals, state, and availability, then schedule your first session.
